West Ilsley trainer Mick Channon landed his first Irish Thoroughbred Marketing Cherry Hinton Stakes with Please Sing at Newmarket yesterday.
Eddie Creighton brought the 14-1 chance home three-quarters-of-a-length clear of Art Princess.
Channon said: "We thought she would win the Albany at Ascot. Things didn't go right there, but sometimes two-year-olds can catch you out and I am chuffed for Eddie, who has always said she was good."
