BACK-TO-BACK victories for Minster Lovell sent them top of Division 1 to set up a potential title showdown with Faringdon this weekend.

Minster defeated hosts Yarnton & Cowley by eight wickets on Saturday, and then saw off Oxenford by five wickets on Sunday to move 13 points clear.

On Saturday, Minster restricted Yarnton to 163-6, despite an excellent 64 from Waqas Ali.

Minster eased home at 164-2 as Dave Prosper hit 49 not out, Elliot Graham 46 and Ollie Mersh 38.

At Oxenford, George French took 5-14 as Minster dismissed the hosts for just 90 and with rain imminent, Minster reached 91-5.

Faringdon maintained their own title bid with a five-wicket win over Chipping Norton.

Tim Wyatt’s unbeaten century saw Stonesfield to a ninewicket win at Radley.

Wyatt hit 103 not out as Stonesfield eased to 168-1 after bowling their hosts out for 163.

The Division 2 title race is also set to go down to the wire.

Leaders Wolvercote saw off Witney Swifts by 38 runs.

Tom Stewart-Liberty topscored with 50 in Wolvercote’s 208-7, before Swifts were restricted to 170-8 in their reply.

Mark Baring took 6-35 for second-placed East & West Hendred as they beat Wootton & Boars Hill by four wickets.

Tom Small smashed a brilliant 160 not out to help Cairns Fudge to an 80-run win at home to Chadlington.

Barry Martin hit 68 and took 3-9 to help Wantage to an 89-run victory at Marsh Gibbon.

In Division 3, Eynsham defeated Stanton Harcourt by 73 runs on the Target Score method to stay clear at the top.

Waqas Ur-Rehman played a starring role in Westcott’s eight-wicket win at Marcham.

He took 6-43 to dismiss Marcham for just 113, before hitting 44 not out as Westcott eased home at 117-2.

Watlington cut the gap on Risinghurst to 30 points to keep alive their Division 4 title hopes with a four-wicket win.

Risinghurst were restricted to 117-5, before Owen Lewis (46no) and Dave Hansford (42) saw Watlington home in the final over.

James Stacey hit 130no to help Sunningwell to a 49-run win at Minster Lovell 2nd on the Target Score method.

Stacey’s knock and 71 from Sam Baker saw Sunningwell to 245-3.

Minster’s target was reduced to 237 after rain, but they were held to 188-7.

Dorchester declared on 200-1 at Swinbrook before wrapping up a 112-run win.

Adrian Redhead hit 103 not out and Steve McComb 87 in Dorchester’s innings, before Thom Airs claimed 4-37 as Swinbrook crashed to 88 all out.

BRILL won their top-of-the-table clashat home to Bampton by three wickets to keep alive their outside Division 5 title hopes.

Tom Broughton took 4-28 and Andy Wynd 3-25 to help restrict the leaders to 137-9.

Wynd then hit 40 and Andy Parke 35 as Brill edged home at 138-7.

Britwell Salome cruised past hosts West Witney by nine wickets.

Neil Lawrence was the star of the show, taking 6-32 in West Witney’s 105 all out, before Stuart Symes (60no) led Britwell to 106-1.

Garsington bowled hosts Chipping Norton 2nd out for just 40 in a ninewicket win.

James Morrison took 4-10 and Andrew Bradford 4-19 for Garsington.

Hook Norton defeated hosts Charlbury 2nd by seven wickets.

After restricting Charlbury to 122-6, Adam Bennett (43no) and Laurence Grimes (35no) led Hooky to 123-3.

In Division 6, Wolvercote 2nd were crowned champions, despite falling to a heavy defeat at Hanney.

The home side set 211-7, Daniel Bradley top-scoring with 45.

Alex Simms then took 4-33 as Wolvercote were all out for 81, but they collected enough bonus points to secure the title.

Radley 2nd all but wrapped up the runners-up spot with a 114-run win at home to Shrivenham 2nd.

Ashley Pike’s 104 and Davison Matthews’s 73 helped Radley to 245-8, before Imran Khan claimed figures of 3-19 as Shrivenham were all out for 131.

Chris Isaac’s 63 saw Tetsworth 2nd to 187-8 to set up a 66-run win against visitors East & West Hendred 2nd.

Miles Martin claimed 5-42 for Hendred, but they were then held to 121-7 as Haider Zaman took 4-23.

Oxenford 2nd beat visitors Faringdon 2nd by 87 runs.

Batting first, the hosts posted 158-6, before Tushar Vasudev took 4-12 as Faringdon were bowled out for 71.

In Division 7, Ducklington closed in on the title with a crushing ten-wicket win at Yarnton & Cowley 2nd.

Jacob Hughes took 5-11 and George Townsend 3-8 to skittle Yarnton for 41.

Ducklington then raced to 44-0.

Josh Bishop hit 68 not out to steer Kilkenny 2nd to a ten-wicket win at Minster Lovell 3rd.

A haul of 4-20 from Perry Tinson helped Witney Swifts 2nd to a sevenwicket success at home to Stonesfield 2nd.

Risinghurst 2nd crushed Dorchester 2nd by nine wickets in Division 8.

After bowling their hosts out for just 88, Risinghurst eased home at 89-1 Mark Salter hitting 46 not out.

In Division 9, youngster Jamie Wiles took his first five-wicket haul in senior cricket as Westcott 2nd beat visitors Deddington 2nd by three wickets.

Wiles claimed 5-29 in Deddington’s 148 all out.

Jason Lowe then hit 46 not out to steer Westcott to 149-7, Luke Jones taking 5-39.
