Creation Theatre Company is providing the opportunity to children of all ages to come to a free taster workshop tomorrow.

The workshop will be an introduction to some of the many activities to take part in in Creation's wide range of winter workshops inspired by Arabian Nights, the company's winter production.

Led by Creation director Claire Boswell, anyone between six and 18 with an interest in performing arts is invited to come along and give it a try.

During the hour, children can enjoy drama games and have fun and make new friends at the same time.

With the workshops are expanding, more young people can try their hand not only at theatre but dance, stage fighting, storytelling and arts and crafts.

David Parrish, artistic director and producer of Creation, said: "Creation drama workshops give children of all ages the chance to nurture an interest in theatre and to build confidence and ability through close interaction and teamwork.

"The taster workshop will allow children to experience some of the activities we offer and to see how fun theatre can be."

The workshops take place on October 28 at All Saint's Church, Lime Walk, Headington, Oxford, 2pm-3pm, ages six to eight, 3pm-4pm, ages nine to 14, and 4pm-5pm, ages 14 and above.
