Jeremy Clarkson is understood to be in talks over possible plans to buy a pub near his brewery in the Cotswolds.
The TV presenter was rumoured to be interested in buying the Coach and Horses Inn in Bourton-on-the-Water last summer.
The property is closed but has operated as both a pub and an Indian restaurant in recent years.
It is listed as a ‘retail partnership tenancy’ by pub company Stonegate Group, which says it is looking for an “innovative and skilful publican”.
According to the group’s website, it has a potential turnover of £367,000 and is available for an introductory rent of £481 per week.
Situated beside the A429 Stow Road in Bourton, it is opposite Hawkstone Brewery where Mr Clarkson's lager and cider is brewed.
In March the Clarkson's Farm star visited Cotswold District Council to discuss possible highways issues.
The talks are believed to be ahead of submitting a formal planning application.
The Grand Tour presenter had plans to build a restaurant at his Diddly Squat Farm 15 miles away near Chipping Norton rejected by both West Oxfordshire District Council and at appeal by a planning inspector.
The former Top Gear host has been the star of Prime Video’s hit show Clarkson’s Farm since its release in 2020.
Now into its third season, the series is set at Diddle Squat Farm near Chipping Norton.
