Motorcyclists are being urged to take part in workshops designed to improve their riding.
The 'Be a Better Biker' sessions, organised by Oxfordshire County Council's Fire and Rescue Service in collaboration with other authorities, are part of ongoing measures to reduce road casualties.
Covering a broad spectrum of advanced techniques such as manoeuvring, overtaking, and cornering techniques, those who take part will also undergo an on-road assessment with a qualified observer followed by a review session.
The upcoming workshops are scheduled for Saturday, April 13, and Saturday, May 11, at Kidlington Fire Station, with a third session at Thame Fire Station on Saturday, April 27.
Andy Ford, a member of Oxfordshire County Council’s Fire and Rescue Service community safety team, said, "Whether you are a relatively new biker, returning to motorcycling after a break or a rider who has years of experience, our Be a Better Biker workshops are suited to all.
"The day includes classroom based learning and a two hour practical ride out, where participants will develop skills to become better, safer riders."
Anyone looking to take part must hold a full and valid motorbike licence and have access to their own vehicle to use during the course.
