Oxford Parkinson’s UK is celebrating World Parkinson’s Day on Saturday, April 13 with The Big Cream Tea event.
Held between 3pm and 5pm at Seacourt Hall, Botley, a suggested £6 entry donation includes a homemade scone and entry into a prize raffle.
The jam and cream have been donated by Rodda’s Creamery and Wilkin & Sons respectively.
The event aims to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s disease.
Information tables run by volunteers, Oxford University’s Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics will be available to answer questions and there'll also be "an enormous inflatable brain".
The event aims to raise funds and awareness about Parkinson's, and provides an informative and fun social occasion for people suffering from the condition, their families and friends.
