A 92-year-old artist's first solo exhibition will be held at Wantage Library next month.
Roy Gosling has incorporated strings into his acrylic paintings and then layered them with sparkling gold leaf to create his artwork, which includes paintings and coasters.
Some of the pieces displayed as part of Mr Gosling's 'String Art Exhibition' will go up for public sale after being on show at the library from April 5 to 27.
Mr Gosling has recently recovered from Covid-19 and has battled Parkinson's disease.
The exhibition will be open to the public during library hours, which run from 9am-8pm on Mondays and Fridays, 9am-5.50pm on Tuesdays, 9am-5.30pm on Wednesdays, 9am-1pm on Thursdays, and 9am-4.30pm on Saturdays, though the library remains closed on Sundays.
