Oxford United is once again showing support for public services as its dedicated Blue Light Day falls this weekend.

This special event takes place on March 9, as Cheltenham Town visits OX4.

The Army, The Royal Air Force, The Navy, Thames Valley Police, South Central Ambulance, Oxford Fire and Rescue, and Oxford University Hospitals will engage with football fans ahead of kick-off.

The match day will showcase vehicles, a range of equipment, and personnel from different branches of public services.

Thames Valley Police will bring along police horses and vehicles, while also providing crime prevention advice.

Alongside their fluffy mascot, South Central Ambulance Service will conduct CPR demonstrations, with an ambulance on site for exploration.

An array of activities, including fire bike demonstrations, are part of the Oxford Fire and Rescue Service's contribution.

Oxford University Hospitals will be conducting free blood pressure checks, giving health advice, and even conducting an origami workshop.

Nuffield Health will engage fans with various health and wellness activities.

Football fans can interact with various military equipment brought by the army, whilst the Navy's Sea Cadets will offer the chance to explore their equipment.

RAF Cadets will welcome the teams onto the pitch with the ceremonial guard of honour.
