Former This Morning star Eamonn Holmes has revealed that he would be willing to drink horse urine if it meant curing his health problems.

The 63-year-old GB News presenter revealed that would go to great lengths to cure the issues that have been affecting him in recent months.

The broadcaster previously revealed that he was dealing with serious back pain and restricted movement, seeing him require crutches and a mobility scooter to get out and about.

He first began experiencing back pain in 2021 with it later being discovered that three disks had slipped out of place.

Eamonn Holmes would 'drink horse pee' to cure his health problems

Speaking of ways to ease the pain and cure his health issues, Eamonn Holmes told Best Magazine: "Ruth [Langsford] shakes her head if I’ve been trying an alternative treatment, but honestly, I would drink horse pee if it worked for me."

The former This Morning host added: "I spend a lot of money on trying to get better."

Earlier this month, he told Tim Franklin on his GB News breakfast show that he still hadn't recovered from his back surgery, adding: "I can’t run, I can’t walk, I can’t do anything except watch TV and eat."

He went on to say: "I just got problems last year in my back, which I haven’t recovered from. It’s not good, it’s not a good recipe I have to say."

Eamonn Holmes is married to Loose Women star Ruth Langsford with the pair previously hosting the ITV breakfast show This Morning before being replaced in 2020.
