National Highways has released its list of roadworks ahead of a quiet week before the bank holiday weekend.

Various slip roads on the M40 will be closed but they will all open from 6am in time for the rush hour traffic.

Motorists will be relieved to know that there will be no road closures on Friday, Saturday or Sunday and there will be no road closures on the A34 throughout the week.

Below is a full list of the road closures.

Tuesday, August 22 M40 Southbound, junction 11. Exit slip road closed for maintenance works from 9.30pm to 6am. Diversion via National Highways Network.

There are no road closures scheduled for Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
