Mystery surrounds the death of a woman from Oxford found dead in her hotel room, an inquest heard on Thursday (August 4).
Carol Gibbons aged 61 of Otters Reach, Kennington, died on November 18 last year in the Premier Inn in Botley.
She was found partially lying in water in the room’s ensuite bathroom.

The inquest at Oxford Coroner’s Court heard that there was no evidence of trauma, no toxicological cause, nor any evidence of an underlying medical event.
The shop assistant’s cause of death could not be established in the post-mortem.
Ms Gibbons was found by police following a call to the Premier Inn at around 8pm by her concerned son.
Officers pronounced her dead at around 9.30pm, the inquest was told.
The inquest heard that the 61-year-old had been diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder and had been seen by mental health services during periods of relapse.
She had not been seen since 2015 but was referred to mental health services on November 14 following an incident at home requiring police involvement.
Oxfordshire assistant coroner Judith Leach gave an open conclusion to the inquest.
