A driver was stopped by police officers in the Henley area for not properly registering her trailer on Tuesday (August 1). 

The operation was carried out by PC Boyes and PC Perry from Thames Valley Police's Rural Crime Taskforce. 

A spokesman for the force said: "A routine stop of this vehicle revealed that the driver had not registered her livestock trailer with Ifor Willaims Trailers.

"Ifor's records detailed an owner from 25 years ago.

"Ifor run a register, which is a useful tool for identifying stolen trailers and reuniting recovered ones with their owners.  

"If you own one please check that your details are registered."
