Buses will replace trains between Aylesbury Vale Parkway and Amersham.

Ticket acceptance between London Paddington and Oxford on Great Western Railway services will also be in place.

Chiltern Railways explained there was a fault currently affecting the control panel on the fuelling system at the primary maintenance depot.

This means the company is unable to prepare and fuel as many trains as is needed to run a full timetable.

Chiltern Railways has advised customers to check their journey before they travel and has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
