A pizza takeaway in Bicester has been given a low food hygiene rating after it was inspected this month.

Pizza House Bicester Ltd in Dean Court was given a two-star food hygiene rating when inspected on June 12 this year.

The takeaway was rated according to the following areas: Hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety.

It received the following scores:

  • Hygienic food handling: Improvement necessary
  • Cleanliness and condition of facilities: Improvement necessary
  • Management of food safety: Generally Satisfactory

On Pizza House’s website, it states: “We serve fresh and tasty food, made to order, when you order.

“Along with our excellent customer service, you always know you're in safe hands when ordering from us.”

Efforts were made to contact the owner of the business for a response.
