The disruption is expected to last most of the day.

14 out of 24 of London Waterloo’s platforms are currently closed, the rail company has confirmed.

They have also warned that the signalling issue is likely to affect the wider network.

South Western Railway has apologised to all customers affected.

London Waterloo is the busiest railway station in Britain with 41.4 million passengers travelling through the station every year.
