St Patrick’s Day (March 17) is a huge celebration of the patron saint of Ireland.

St Patrick’s celebration at O'Neill's

 

O’Neill’s at 37 George Street is Oxford’s only Irish pub.

The pub isn’t just celebrating St Patrick’s Day on March 17 but they have organised a whole week of celebrations.

O’Neill’s has promised a week of partying filled with Irish craic, exclusive drinks offers and a massive weekend of sport.

The Six Nations finale will be shown on Saturday and the pub has been offering free pints to anyone named Patrick and Patricia all week.

St Patricks Day at the Jericho Tavern

 

The Jericho Tavern at 56 Walton Street is hosting a special St Patrick’s celebration night.

Tim Friers & The Mercenaries are back playing at the pub after just releasing a new album.

The band were supposed to play at the Jericho Tavern in 2020 but had to cancel due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Doors open at 7pm and the event will finish at 11pm.

St Patrick’s Festival at Prince of Wales pub

 

The Prince of Wales pub on Horspath Road in Oxford are hosting a St Patrick’s Day festival over the whole weekend.

Live music will take place on Friday and Saturday night from 8.30pm.

On Sunday the pub will celebrate with live music and Irish dancing from 5pm.

St Patrick’s Day at The City Arms

 

The City Arms at 228 Cowley Road are hosting a St Patrick’s celebration on March 17.

The pub is encouraging attendees to come in their greenest outfit.

The City Arms will be offering plenty of Guinness but will also be serving up a selection of Irish cocktails.
