My lunchtime meal deal suddenly became more exciting when Walkers launched their heart-shaped crisp competition.

Walkers are encouraging the nation to hunt for their best heart-shaped crisp in the ‘grab bag’ packets.

One lucky winner is promised to receive £100,000, with other prizes also available.

When I heard this news, I soon became more inclined to pick the crisps as part of my meal deal, over the other snacks in the supermarket.

People have been sharing their best entries for the competition on social media.

So, I thought I would do the same.

Although I don’t think I have found the £100,000 crisp just yet, I don’t think these entries are far off.

What’s more I found them both in the same packet!

Walkers caused controversy in February after they refused to give out the cash prize to a mum-of-two who supposedly ate the ever-so-searched for heart shape crisp.

Dawn Sagar, a local supermarket worker, missed her chance at the £100,00 in February as the competition terms and conditions demand that you register the crisp on the website first.

A Walkers spokesperson said: "Such a shame that Dawn has eaten that crisp.

"We do need to be fair to all the other Walkers fans that have followed our competition T&Cs and held onto their crisp for safekeeping, so I'm afraid we won't be able to accept her entry this time round.

"There's still time if she wants to enter."
