Will it be trick or treat this weekend? Here's the Halloween weather forecast if you're heading out in Oxfordshire.

Halloween falls on Monday, October 31 this year which means that trick-or-treaters will be out and about in their creepy costumes all weekend.

Whether you're planning a frightful day out with the family or you're picking pumpkins at a patch nearby, here's the weather you can expect from Saturday right through to the spooky day itself.

Saturday Oxfordshire weather forecast

It's a spooky start on Saturday with light rain in the morning breaking into sunny intervals in the afternoon. 

There is a 60% chance of rain from 7 to 10 am but this drops dramatically to 10% by lunchtime.

Temperatures will peak at 19C but it will feel more like 17C and there will be lows of 11C.

Sunday Oxfordshire weather forecast

Moving on to Sunday, it will start off a cloudy day but it should change into sunny intervals by lunchtime. 

There is a low chance of rain throughout the day, peaking at 10%, but this should drop to under 5% at around 6 pm.

Temperatures are expected to be consistent with the rest of the month, ranging from 13C to 17C.

Monday Oxfordshire weather forecast

Halloween itself paints a very similar picture - if perhaps a lit bit damper!

The Met Office predicts clouds throughout the day with a fairly low chance of rain at around 10%. 

However, the outlook will change by early evening with a high 50% chance of rain predicted from 6 pm.

Similarly to the weekend, temperatures will be in the range of 12-17C.
