Family friendly Halloween events in Oxfordshire

Spooky Halloween trail at Blenheim Palace

Where : Woodstock OX20 1PP

When : October 22 to October 31 2021

Ride the mini-ghost train and come face to face with the beasts of Blenheim as part of the palace's Halloween family entertainment.

Blenheim Palace will also host a Frightful Fire performance on October 26 and 27 in the Great Court and they will have a bat trail in the walled garden.

Fairytale Farm

There will be lots of spooky fun at Fairytale Farm this Halloween.

You can become a Fairytale Supernatural Sleuth and solve riddles  by venturing down the Enchanted Walk.

With fairytale actors, an activities barn and even a Pumpkin Patch where you can pick your free pumpkin to carve in Jack’s Yard, there's plenty to do for all the family.

The Cross Keys Kids Halloween Party

Where: 48 High St, Wallingford

When : October 31 2021, 3pm.

The Cross Keys is hosting a very creepy creative Halloween this year. 

Get pumpkin carving, play spooky games and dress up in classic Halloween costumes, it doesn't get more Halloween than that.

Half term Family Day at Science Oxford Centre

Where: Stansfeld Park, Quarry Rd, Headington, Oxford

When: October 26, 27, 28, 30 2021, 10am- 5pm

Science Oxford Centre has "a spell of spooky science for all the family" this Halloween. 

You can conjure up chromatography-bats and explore the science of colour before braving the forbidden forest to reach the pumpkin trail.

Tickets include two hours in the Exploration Zone and access to woodland all day.

These should be booked in advance, costing £6 per person or £20 for a family of four.

Abingdon Airflied Haloween Spooktacular

Where: Abingdon Airfield, Oxfordshire, OX13 6JA

When: October 30 and 31 2021 from 4pm

Abingdon Airfield is hosting the UK's largest family-friendly low noise fireworks display over two nights. 

Back by popular demand,you can visit the fairground and warm up with some hot food and drink. 

All before watching an incredible flame and fireball display and firework sky divers.
