Here are a selection of five dogs at Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary that are looking for forever homes. 

The sanctuary rehomes up to 500 animals every year and looks after 30 dogs at any one time.

Betty

Gender - Female

Age - 3 years old

Breed - Black and white Crossbreed Lurcher x Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Betty is super friendly and will walk great with her new owner- so long as she is kept on her lead in public!

She needs a committed owner to continue her training on dog reactivity and to build up being left alone with.

Her ideal home would also not have any other pets in an adult-only home.

She also needs a secure garden to play in that is protected by a six foot fence.

Willie

Age - 6 years old

Breed - Chihuahua 

Willie is very affectionate and needs an experienced owner that is willing to do training and multiple visits to get to know him. 

His new home cannot have other dogs, children under 16 or a lot of visitors.

Age - 8 years old

Breed - Black Boxer x

Sash loves to play and be around people and is very good at walking.

She is looking for a home without other pets and children where she can relax.

Sash also needs a secure garden to play in that is protected by a six foot fence.

Her new owner would need to xperience of resource guarding or owners who are willing to learn about this.

Someone from the Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary team will be on hand to offer guidance.

Banksy

Gender - Male

Age - 5 years old

Colour - White and black Crossbreed terrier

Banksy loves to play and be around people.

He would be best in a home where his owner is around most of the time and is free to take him on long walks.

Banksy is looking for a home without other pets and children that has a garden for him to play in.

He needs an owner who knows about resource guarding and you should obly apply if you do understand what this beahviour means.

One of the santuary's behaviourist will be on hand to provide the lucky owner with support though.

Buddy

Age - 10 years old

Colour - Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Buddy is a "typical happy Staffy" that loves to play.

He has a lot of love to give but needs an adult only home.

His new owner needs to be calm and shouldn't own any other pets.

Buddy's new home needs to have a secure garden that has 5ft fencing all around.
