TODAY'S stormy weather is expected to continue into the night with heavy showers and thunder.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for rain as showers are expected to be constant throughout today.
A spokesman for the Met Office said: "Showers, heavy and perhaps thundery, will continue during the first half of the night, before easing away east.
"Most places will be dry by dawn, with clear skies developing."
The minimum temperature tonight is expected to be around 7 °C.
Tomorrow will be looking brighter as any "lingering showers" are expected to clear and "a fine sunny day will then develop."
