SPOT the difference. Above is Oxford's High Street, looking to the west, at the end of the 1800s and below is a picture captured by our snapper Jon Lewis on Wednesday.
Both photographs were taken from Magdalen College Tower but show little change in the city's skyline – despite the passage of about 120 years.
Eagle-eyed readers will notice the absence of some landmarks in the earlier scene, such as the Weston Library, originally built in 1940 and Nuffield College's tower, completed in 1956.
The first picture, taken before the use of motorcars became widespread, is also notable for the lack of traffic visible in High Street.
